The continuous cycle between Jut Sau, Tan Sau, and Bong Sau, emphasis the “direction of force and degree of force,” during these continuous changes of techniques. There are four main directions to apply force (left, right, up, and down). Further, changes between techniques are produced by “rotations” of your wrist and elbow. The rotation is a dynamic method of control; it is not static. From, “rotations” around dummy arms one will apply a direction and degree of force with both arms simultaneously in the same direction or in a splitting manner. This kind of training is irreplaceable in the development of tactile sense and manipulative capability in one’s hand and wrists.
