Welcome to Lesson 9 of our Wing Chun Wooden Dummy Training Series!
In this lesson, we're shifting our focus to precision, body structure, and hand-foot coordination. These drills are designed to fine-tune your technique and ensure your movements are functional, fluid, and combat-ready. Mastery of these elements will deepen your understanding of Wing Chun and improve how you apply it under pressure.
You’ll be training with the following key technique combinations:
• Right hand Pak Sau with upper lying palm
• Right hand Bong Sau with left hand Wu Sau
• Right hand Tan Sau with left lower lying palm
• Left foot hooking and side stomping
• Left hand Bong Sau with right hand Wu Sau
• Left hand Tan Sau with lower lying palm
• Right foot hooking and side stomping
• High and low Gaun Sau
• Left hand Tan Sau with right hand Man Sau
• Left hand Jut Sau with right hand upper lying palm
These sequences are essential for developing the timing and coordination needed for real-world application. As you train, pay close attention to your structure and energy flow through each movement.
