WOODEN DUMMY FORM LESSONS 13-14
Lessons 13 and 14 of this Wing Chun Wooden Dummy training series focus on advancing core skills through precise technique execution and deeper conceptual understanding. In these lessons, students will learn and refine techniques such as High and Low Gaun Sau, right Man Sau and left Tan Sau, Jut Sau and Tan Sau (Djum Shou), as well as advanced double-arm techniques including Double Tan Sau, Double Huen Sau, Double Tok Sau, Double Lower and Upper Lying Palms, and Double Jut Sau.
These lessons emphasize critical Wing Chun principles like force direction, inch power, stickiness (Chi Sau sensitivity), and the simultaneous transfer of force through both arms during offensive and defensive actions.
With a strong focus on tactile sensitivity and movement efficiency, this segment promotes "no slamming—just pure connection." Through careful observation of the instructor and disciplined physical practice, students will sharpen their structural understanding, internal energy control, and real-world application of the wooden dummy form.
